Videography

Here is a selection of promotional videos ranging from commercials, music videos, social promos and guide series.

The Salon Owner

Ahead of the very first Salon Owners Summit, I was asked to film a commercial for Phorest. We came up with the narrative and then went to work.

I love how this came out. It was a great production with an incredible cast and crew (most of whom also filmed Vigilance the day before we shot this as well.)

Introducing Phorest…

Here is a promotional video I made for Phorest Salon Software in 2017. Probably one of the most notable things about it is how cost-effective it was.
I filmed it with my own equipment and edited it back at the office. We used Phorest client Elysian Brow as the location. So all in all, this was a couple of hours of filming and editing and then uploaded later that week

'Making Tax Digital'... Explained With Emoji

For the Making Tax Digital initiative, we knew that it would be a challenge trying to engage our audience on a subject so dense. So we came up with the fun idea of breaking it down on camera with emojis, to balance out the complexity with a little levity.

73 Questions with Phorest Salon Software

Phorest were looking to make a new recruitment video, but wanted something a little outside of the box. What we came up with was our own version of Vogue’s 73 Questions series, where we interview staff from every department, on every floor as we move up the building. This was a fun experience to shoot. It mainly consists of 5 long take shots put together.

Salon Retail Week Promo

In Phorest, I have made quite a few animated text style videos. This is one of them to promote the award-winning Salon Retail Week interactive campaign.

Salon Horror Stories

In 2018, I flew to Australia to tour different cities, making testimonial videos. It was a brilliant experience and I met some amazing people.

While we interviewed the various salon owners and managers, we also took a moment to ask them some fun questions as well. This video came from asking these hair and beauty professionals for the most cringe-worthy and horrific moments of their career.

Transparency in AI

When the EU proposed a new regulation on transparency in AI, we at Fraugster knew this was an important moment for us.

So we filmed this info-promo to basically detail what the legislation was about and to show that as a leader in the world of Artificial Intelligence, Fraugster fully supports this initiative and has built their brand and their technology from a focal point of trust, fairness and transparency.

Nation of the State Music Video

My very first collaboration with Sean Leanard (the first of many) was to direct a music video for the band Nation of the State for their track Feel The Change. This was a big moment in my career, as it was the first time I had the opportunity to work with professionals. And after this, I never looked back. An amazing production and I am thrilled with the results we got.

Marketing to Millennials Webinar

Over the past decade, I have also created and hosted around 80 webinars.

This is one that I made to show salon owners how they can market themselves to the world’s largest generation: Millennials.
