As a gift, I created a card-based comfort zone challenge game where a person takes a card and has to accomplish the task they read in the next two weeks. They can’t take another card until they complete the task of the last one.

For my wife’s birthday, I had an idea: I was going to surprise her with a song that I wrote AND performed. The idea was to start taking lessons and do it properly. However, when COVID hit, the whole singing lessons part was sidelined. But I still went ahead with the song anyway.

With a mountain of help from the incredible Ed Scanlan (@edscanlanmusic), who ended up playing all of the instruments and singing the track as well, it was completed in time. I’m super proud of this, even though it was borne more on the back of Eddie Scan, than me 😅

For a few years, I reviewed films in 7 words. It was a fun little exercise in minimisation. Can I actually sum up my thoughts, opinions and feelings in just seven words? Maybe sometime in the future, I may look to create a page dedicated to these reviews. But until then, please enjoy the Twitter account:
